UQef is a vehicle for benefactors and businesses to commit significant funds to the University.
On 15th March 2010, the Uqef was prescribed private fund status with the Australian Taxation Law and thereby has the status as a Deductible Gift Recipient for Income Tax purposes.
The fund has been endorsed for income tax exemption and allows for individuals and families to obtain tax deductibility for donations.
